NDIS Plan Management Coming Soon
All Abilities Therapy and Support services are excited to announce that we are currently undergoing processes to become registered Plan Managers under the NDIS.
What is Plan Management?
Plan Managers help you to pay your bills to your providers using your NDIS funding. You can choose your provider and then we assist you to make payment agreements with that provider and we claim and pay the bills from your funding!
What is the benefit of using a Plan Manager?
NDIS provides 3 funding options:
- NDIA Managed: If you select this option your funds are claimed directly by your provider. This means that you will have to choose providers who are NDIS registered.
- Self Managed: This means that NDIS sets you up with a claiming portal and you pay your providers directly and then claim the money back from the NDIS. It does allow you to choose any provider you want and saves you from being limited to registered providers.
- Plan Managed: This means that your plan manager claims the money on your behalf and pays the provider directly. It does allow you to choose any provider you want and saves you from being limited to registered providers.
The main benefit of plan management is that it increases your choice without adding more stress to you and your family to manage claiming and paying the bills!
Does it cost me anything to be plan managed?
Plan management has a fee which falls under your NDIS funding. To access plan management you need to have requested this in your plan and there will then be a budget allocated to cover the costs of your plan management.
