Below are some frequently asked questions about Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy appointments with All Abilities Therapy and Support Services. Please click on any of the titles below to read more information.

Yes, unfortunately we are currently working off a waiting list which we have now closed. When we have availability we will advertise on our website and social media pages. 

We are not currently taking appointments for new clients and our waiting lists are closed. Current clients can alter their appointments by contacting us on (02) 4731 3469. We will advertise when we have availability for new clients on our website and social media pages. 

Prior to the assessment you will be provided with a questionnaire to help us gain more information about you or your child. An assessment session goes for up to 1 hour and can include standardised and/or non-standardised assessments (those that can be scored and those that are based on observations). Following the assessment you will receive a summary report that outlines the outcomes of the assessment including any scores obtained during the assessment and goals/recommendations for therapy.

Yes - if your funding is plan managed or self managed. As of 2024 All Abilities is no longer a registered NDIS provider but you can still access our services if your plan is plan managed or self managed.

There are a limited number of plans available through General Practitioners or Paediatricians that you or your child may be able to use to claim rebates or bulk billed sessions through. Contact your GP to discuss your child’s eligibility for these plans. If you are claiming bulk billed services please note all sessions run for 20 minutes only and you need to inform our staff when you schedule the appointment. Please bring your plan with you on the day of your appointment.

All Abilities is an eligible service provider for most private health insurers. Check your health insurance plan to see if you are covered for Speech Pathology and Occupational therapy rebate levels. Every fund is different so we are unable to tell you how much you might expect back from the fund. We do have HICAPS services that allow you to claim the rebate on the spot and only pay the gap.

This will depend on each individual. Some children and adults attend therapy weekly and some attend fortnightly. Some therapy is less regular as scheduled based on needs. This will be discussed during your initial assessment to determine what is best for each individual client.

Sessions at All Abilities are usually either 30 or 60 minutes in duration, depending on each individuals and their support needs.

Prices for services at All Abilities vary. Please contact us for specific details on costs for your situation. Alternatively if you are booking online with us, all session prices are available at the time of scheduling sessions.

Yes! We offer mobile therapy services to the Nepean and Hawkesbury districts.

Yes! We are happy to accommodate you and your family’s needs should you want to join us for your child’s therapy sessions.

We are open Monday to Friday. Appointment times can vary between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Our phones do not operate from 4:30pm onwards each day.

Our Kingswood clinic is in the Hospital Specialist Clinic building which has 2 levels of dedicated parking for clients.

Our Windsor clinic is located adjacent to a carpark as well as a range of street parking on George Street and Dight Street.
