Telehealth Services

What are Telehealth Services?

Telehealth services are services delivered to you remotely, from your home on a device of your choice. We typically recommend a computer but devices like iPads can also be used to access telehealth services. Telehealth services work well when face-to-face services are not required to work towards your therapy goals and can offer more flexibility if you find it difficult to travel to one of our clinics.

What services can I access via Telehealth?

What do I need to be able to access Telehealth Services?

Our Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists both offer telehealth services. Upon completing your initial referral our clinicians will gather information about your goals to determine whether or not your intervention could be conducted via telehealth. Sometimes some face-to-face appointments may be required for assessment purposes with ongoing supports being provided remotely.

To access telehealth consultations you will need access to a quiet, private space; and the appropriate device i.e. laptop, iPad or computer with a camera, microphone and speakers; and a reliable internet connection.
